Skyrim Glitches Putting Damper on Enjoyment of the Game

Skyrim starts out with an exciting wagon ride where you can't move your character. But this is just the intro and your hands are bound. Once the initial cut-scenes are over, your hands are untied and you free to explore the massive world of Skyrim. The first few days are really cool and you accept many Quests and solve them while continuing on with the main story line. Then one day you try to follow the little white arrow which leads you into a house and you go upstairs and downstairs and you can't find how to get to it, because it is a glitch and you can't complete that particular quest. OK, well one glitch is not a day-spoiler, so you move on, but as you get deeper and deeper into the game, the glitches become more of a nuisance and widespread. Now it has gotten so bad, you can't move in a town anymore because the guards are all over you, but no matter what you do, you can't pay your fine or escape or anything, you are stuck in a treadmill of guard questioning hell. This sucks. Then trying to load an earlier game save and try it again yields the same issues. Pulling a lever that won't open the door, not being able to move forward in the quest. So you can root around online, or just wait for a patch. Others say they are having similar issues on the XBox, while PC users can use cheats to get around some of these nuisances. Bethesda, what is up?? Most software companies are pressured to get their stuff to market so they don't miss the holidays, so while revenue is pouring in, there are alot of disgruntled gamers that invest hours in the game only to come upon one glitch after another. Skyrim is a really cool game and concept, but the glitches are putting a damper on the enjoyment of the game. If anyone has any particular glitches they would like to share or solve, please put them in below for other frustrated Skyrimmers. Meanwhile, will hope the next patch fixes some of the current issue so we can enjoy the game once again. Gifted Gamer 2011

Black Ops coming to Canada

The new highly awaited Black Ops from the Call of Duty series is arriving to Canada this Fall.

The new multiplayer beta version has already been released for final testing.
From completely customizable characters to a new twist allowing monetization and a trade based game play will make this a very interesting change to the other Call of Duty games.

You still have perks, weapons selection and other things similar to Modern Warfare 2, but the graphics are supposed to take advantage of the gaming consoles memory and provide a richer experience.

The dogs are back though and there are killstreak bonuses like counter spy plane, napalm strike, attack helicopter, blackbird, chopper gunners and of course the attack dogs.

Some of the weapons will include Ak47, CAR-15 Commando, Spas12 shotgun, RPG7 and M202 launchers and more assault rifles and sub machine guns as well as the RPK74 and M60 LMGs.
You can also use the Machete, Carcano and Crossbow!

Black Ops arriving in Canada this Fall, stay tuned!

Looks like it may be out as early as the Fall of 2010.

Multiplayer shooter games for PS3

Multiplayer shooters started on the PS3 with Resistance and Call of Duty 3. Those were the "good old days" of PS3 gaming when everyone was on the same game and there was camraderie and challenge. The small community of PS3ers that first owned a PS3 on launch has now exploded worldwide along with the shooter game titles available.

Some of my favourite multiplayer shooter games for PS3 include Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, Rainbow Six Vegas, Resistance 2, Call of Duty World at war and I even have Haze and Championship Paintball 2009. My favourite online first person shooter is currently Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Get it here: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Not so sure about others I have not tried yet like Bioshock2, Bad Company 2 and Red Faction Guerrilla.

In any case the games keep getting more realistic with authentic sounding and behaving weapons, detailed enviroments and some cool challenges.

Loremaster-World of Warcraft

I have been spending alot of time on Warcraft recently.

I just got my Loremaster!

That involved completing Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms, Loremaster of Kalimdor, Loremaster of Outland and Loremaster of Northrend.

Am now working on: What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been.

These criteria include: To Honor One's Elders, Fool for Love, Noble Gardener, The Flame Warden, Brewmaster, Hallowed Be Thy Name and Merrymaker. I only have to complete For the Children for this!

The hardest part of getting the Loremaster was the Kalimdor because there were so little quests and they were spaced out, so there were some really hard quest areas you had to find. This would have been impossible if I hadn't done the Thousand Needles Quests.

Also, in the Eastern Kingdoms, though there are about 740 quests to complete (count for the achievement), and you only need 700 - sometimes you may get stuck at like 650 or so, but after you get to 680 it becomes easy again.

The worst part of some of the Outlands and Northerend questing was PVP since if someone from the other faction is hogging your quest requirements and then killing you whenever you try to get something, it can be hard to finish that quest.

New Sly Cooper 4?

Alot of Sly Cooper Fans await Sly Cooper 4

I was just wondering why Sucker Punch Productions would give up on such a great franchise.

Ratchet and Clank continues to bring out new games to the series, but Sly Cooper got stuck several years ago as the programmers at Sucker Punch were busy with other more 'mature' games like Infamous.

Turns out even serious gamers have fun with things they started out on. Sly Cooper was one of the best PS2 games at the time, and so would it not make sense to bring out a new Sly Cooper on the PS3/Xbox 360 platforms with much improved graphics?

There have been many rumors swirling around the net over the past 2 years. This one's uncle works at Sucker Punch, that one knows the release date is Summer, 2010..... But until we get the official word from Sucker Punch, it is all just speculation.

So what about Sly 4? anyone?...... Sucker Punch?....
